The Return to Myself

I’ve known inadequacy.
I’ve known the grief of a miscarriage,
the weight of a difficult pregnancy,
and the loneliness of trying to hold my mind together
through isolation, a pandemic,
and postpartum depression that tried to swallow me whole.
I’ve known the scars of childhood trauma,
the silence of generational pain,
and the heavy inheritance of curses
I was never meant to carry.
I’ve known what it feels like to be unloved,
to lose myself again and again
in the very places I thought would keep me safe.
But I also know resurrection.
I found my way back through movement,
through sweat‑stained prayers,
through rebuilding my body and my faith at the same time.
Fitness became my lifeline.
God is my anchor.
And together, they brought me home to myself.
Now, as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Online Fitness Coach,
I give other women the blueprint—
to rise, to reclaim, to return.

✨ Mixfit Life

At Mixfit Life, we envision a world where women—especially women of color—rise together in strength, resilience, and radiant community.

We believe movement is medicine, sisterhood is sanctuary, and integrity is the anchor of transformation. Our foundation is built on honoring lived experiences, protecting sacred spaces, and blending fitness with spiritual care to foster healing, closure, and empowerment.

We exist to uplift women who seek not only physical strength but also belonging, courage, and the freedom to thrive. Through intentional coaching, poetic motivation, and transparent leadership, we cultivate a tribe where vulnerability becomes power, discipline becomes liberation, and every Sistah shines.

Our vision is simple yet profound: to empower women to reclaim their bodies, their voices, and their collective light—rising together, grounded in integrity, unstoppable in unity.
